Former Police Captain Tries CBD Oil

Larry Smith is a former police captain who suffers from Parkinson’s disease. The first onset of symptoms started nearly two decades ago. Very recently, a fellow Parkinson’s patient suggested CBD oil to Larry to help control the devastating effects of Parkinson’s disease.

In the video, you will see Larry administer a CBD oil tincture sublingually. Within minutes, the tremors go away.

This is not surprising as CBD has been found to have neuroprotective, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In a recent study of 21 patients, one group was treated with a placebo, one group with 75mg of CBD per day and one group with 300mg of CBD per day. Participants were assessed one week before the trial and in the last week of treatment. In the assessment, they were evaluated on:

  1. motor and general symptoms score
  2. well-being and quality of life
  3. possible neuroprotective effects

At the end of the trial, researchers concluded that CBD played a role in improving quality of life measures in Parkinson’s disease patients with no psychiatric downsides.
